Phillips Financial would like to recognize Lauren Black, MBA, on earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification. “To say that the Certified Financial Planner ™ is the penultimate designation for those calling themselves financial planners, financial advisors, or any company is putting it mildly,” said Lynn Phillips-Gaines, CFP®, CLTC (owner of Phillips Financial, which has been in business since 1984). Preparation for the exam is grueling, taking dedication, discipline, and a commitment to the best interest of one’s clients, taking years to complete. Congratulations, Lauren, on achieving this milestone.”

Black joined Phillips Financial in 2008. She holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, as well as a license in life, disability, and long term care insurance. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Mississippi State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Business Information Systems and Marketing. Black works closely with Phillips-Gaines to develop financial plans and recommendations that help clients meet and exceed their goals.
